The agreement has been reached with Actis, a global fund focused on infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, Nabiax has a <strong>26 IT MW installed capacity in Spain<\/strong>, being the main reference for <strong>Hyperscalers<\/strong> in the country. The company started its operation in 2019, with 11 MW of IT power in Spain, and after 3 years of successful management, Nabiax has grown 230% in terms of installed capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thus, the company participated by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.asterionindustrial.com\/sustainability\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Asterion Industrial Partners<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.telefonica.com\/es\/nosotros\/paises-unidades-emergentes\/telefonica-infra\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Telef\u00f3nica Infra<\/a><\/strong>, will continue investing in Spain, to keep increasing its capacities, which can surpass <strong>120 MW<\/strong> in the 3 locations of the company: Alcal\u00e1 de Henares, Madrid and Terrassa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sameways, on top of increasing its capacity, the company bets on strengthening its commitment with <a href=\"https:\/\/nabiax.com\/esg\/\">sustainability<\/a>, as part of a key industry in the digital transformation of the country. As part of the strategic plans of the company, can be highlighted the renewable energy supply of the Data Centers, the bet on energy efficiency and a responsible management of water, also fostering the circular economy in the infrastructure operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Emilio D\u00edaz, CEO at Nabiax<\/strong>, has highlighted the relevance of this operation for the company: \u201cselling the Latin American assets will boost our commitment to the Spanish market, which we lead, and that is in a very attractive moment for investing. We will mainly focus on organic growth of our Data Centers, but we do not rule out inorganic growth\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, the Chief Executive of the company has pointed out the main challenges for the company in this new phase of growth: \u201cThere are three key elements to face our expansion, which are the attraction of the necessary <strong>talent<\/strong>, achieving excellence in terms of <strong>sustainability<\/strong> of our operations, and to have the access to new <strong>energy supply<\/strong> to be able to develop future projects and to satisfy the deployment needs of our clients\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sebasti\u00e1n Urb\u00e1n, Associate at Asterion Industrial Partners<\/strong>, declared: \u201cThanks to the excellent work of the management team we are immensely satisfied with the growth in Nabiax Latin America and the value generation that we have crystalized in this transaction.
