Nabiax, the leading Data Center company in Spain, has begun the works of expansion of ADC2, located in Alcalá Data Center Campus, one of the most advanced infrastructures in Europe. Specifically, Alcalá Data Center Campus will grow a 47% in installed capacity, from 15,1 IT power to more than 22.
This way, the company advances with the expansión of Alcalá, which has a forecast of a 100 MW of installed IT power in the coming years.
Once the expansion is concluded, there will be 3 more expansions, 2 of 15 MW and 1 of 7, which will turn the campus in the biggest of the country, having 26,000 sqm of IT room built in 28 rooms.
However, this Data Center Campus is not only one of the biggest in terms of capacity, it also vanguard in terms of technology: the first phase (ADC1) is the only one in the country with all TIER IV certifications (design and build), as well as the TIER IV Gold of Sustainable Operation.
Moreover, the project has counted with top-level partners, to ensure that the Data Center energy efficiency levels are top-tier. Using the latest generation hardware and software for the remote management of the equipment, the company guarantees the energy availability and the continuous supply, in addition to the maximum energy saving possible.
